I'm trying to find a replacement motor for my pool pump but my model number doesn't match what you have listed as the model number. My model number begins with a C48 and yours begins with an SP. Please help.

What we have listed on our chart pages is the pump model number. The model number you have will just identify the motor. If you look on the plastic housing on the pump there should be a sticker which will have the pump model number. You can usually find this by the discharge port on the pump. Once you locate it you can choose the correct replacement motor. Be certain to change the shaft seal and gaskets as needed. You can use our >How to guide if you need help.

how to wire motor to run high speed only

Like any other motor schedule, you would set the times you wish the pump to run and select the speed at which the motor is to run. Reference the Marathon ImPower Owner's Manual.

What is part number for the shaft seal for this motor?

Hi, The shaft seal is specific the pump housing, not the motor. If you can provide the model of the pump housing we can locate the correct shaft seal.

The motor controls on the pump are fried, and I want to direct wire the pump. What wires are the motor leads for high speed. (230v)

Hi, Gerald. Unfortunately, we do not have a wiring diagram of how to bypass the controller.

I used this pump on an existing hayward superpump filter housing. It served well for a few years but the controller went bad. What are my options? Is there any other dual speed automatic motor that I can install on my hayward housing ? Any help is appreciated. I am have been trying to find a replacement controller for the impower pump but its super hard to spot one.

I have the imPower variable speed pool pump. The pump starts out on high for 2 hrs. Then it goes to the low setting for the remainder of the time. There is apparently a bearing problem on high. It does not make the noise on medium or low, as I am told there are different set of bearings on those two levels. So my question is, anyway that I can set the setting on medium instead of high when it first comes on and then go to the low setting? Thanks for your response ahead of time, Bob
Hi, Bob. Motors does not have different bearing for different speeds. To achieve want you want, follow the instruction on page 14 of the imPower Owner's Manual.

I have one of your pumps and am very pleased with it; now 8 years old. The pool debris basket is attached to the pump in a separate housing. Can you advise me where I can find a replacement basket; mine is disintegrating.
