My AGP is full of water & I need to replace the stabilizers & top rails & plates, can I do this without emptying the pool

Hello Nancy, it is recommended you drain the pool when attempting to replace the stabilizers. Failure to do so can result in the weight of the water finding a weak spot and causing a collapse in the wall.

Won’t the liner shrink and rip if you drain the water out? Can you replace one section at a time? Will that reduce the danger?

Patrick, yes, one of the most important things any owner of a vinyl liner pool needs to know is you should NEVER drain the water from your vinyl liner swimming pool unless you have purchased and are ready to install a new liner. The water in the pool helps hold the liner into place. If you drain your pool you can cause your vinyl pool liner to shrink and upon refilling, if the liner has lost its elasticity it can cause the liner to rip or tear. So, yes, our suggestion is to replace the Inner Stabilizer Steel 52-1/2" (Single) very meticulously one section at a time.

Can the #38506 steel stablizer be used in place of the #38506 Resin Stabelizer Kit? If so, are additional parts needed?

Hi, John. Yes, the steel option can be used to replace the resin option and vice versa. However, the resin kit requires a connector, the steel one interlocks.

I have a reprieve 24x52 Namco pool, a branch fell on one section, denting the top and inner stabilizer. Is this the right part to buy?
Than you
Yes, the Wilbar Inner Stabilizer, Steel, 52-1/2", Single - 38506 will be perfect for your Reprieve 24' Round pool.
