This light comes with a 12v 100w bulb can it be replaced with a 12v 300w bulb?

Need to replace an older SP-540-Z-1 LG, looking at the DuraLite Replacement Light 100W, 12V, 50' Cord. Would like to add a LED controllable bulb. Also, I assume the voltage of the SP_540 was 12v AC?
Hi, Roger. The number provided is the number of the lens only. It does appear that you have an old Hayward Starlite SP-540 Series which can be replaced by the DuraLite Fixtures. The SP0540 fixture is a 12 volt model. You can use the LED Pool Bulb v2 Color Changing 12V 35W - PL5858 with this fixture.
