Hayward Tri-Star 1-1/2 HP Energy Efficent Dual Speed In-Ground Pool Pump
I need to replace 2-speed pump on inground(approx 10,000 gal w/400 gal spillover spa). Currently Tristar sp3210z2be(?) or SP32102EE. I have 2" plumbing. Its a 1hp pump w/ service factor of 1.85. I generally run pump on low speed unless I need to run the heater. This is one reason I did not convert to salt, wasn't sure if I could run on low and generate chlorine. Reviewer stated their tristar SP3210X152 works w/salt on low speed.
Can you tell me difference between SP3210X152 vs SP32102EE?

Hi, Valerie. The difference between the SP3210X152 and the SP32102EE pumps is the type of motor that is used on the pump. The SP32102EE has a full rate motor and the SP3210X152 has an up rate motor. The full rate motors are better than the up rate motors.

I have a 24K gal salt water pool. My SP3210ZBE Century pump is making a whining noise. It's still working and making 25psi at the filter. Based on my research on your site the SP32102EE seems to be the replacement. Is this correct? I may try to fix my pump first. Can I buy replacement bearings and seals from you for my SP3210ZBE as well?
