Pros: Looks nice.
Cons: Ladder is flimsy and instructions are vague.
I originally experienced one issue during assembly but more issues became apparent once I put the ladder in the pool. First, study the picture on the front of the booklet before assembly; the instructions are vague at times. For example in step 3, do not screw the step connector to the top step. This step is stationary while the rest swing up. Step 9 states to fill each ladder leg with 20 Lbs. of sand. Don't do this unless you want 40 Lbs. of sand in your pool. The legs have been pre-drilled to allow them to fill with water. These holes also allow the sand to flow out into the pool. The ladder steps have a small hole in them but this hole is not enough. Do yourself a favor and drill a couple more holes in each step so they won't float. Finally, while assembling the ladder it seemed sturdy but once you step on it it bends a lot and does not feel sturdy at all. The instructions state the ladder needs to be secured to the top rail of the pool but the ladder does not rest on the rail until you step on it. Once you step off, the ladder bounces back up flexing the rail. You can loosen the screws but doing so causes the ladder to sway putting more stress on the rail. This ladder is not worth the $200 we paid. At this point I'd rather have a simple aluminum ladder and am very disappointed with this purchase.

Once assembled this is a great ladder but the directions were a little vague at times. Make sure you don't screw the support bars into the top step as this step is meant to stay stationary.
