Is it normal that this pump runs very hot when I try to touch it? Literally it burn my hands if I touch it for 3-5 secs

Hi, Raul. These motors can run hot, the motor is also equipped with a thermal overload which will shut the motor off if motor exceeds a certain temperature.

Can this pump replace a Jandy Stealth series pump? As my pump has a 10 1/4 entry port and this pump is 7 3/4.

Hi Pete, This would be a great replacement pump for the Jandy Stealth. The water output would be relatively similar. The The plumbing ports are not in the exact same position so you will have a little re-plumbing.
