This heavy duty mechanical time switch is designed for industrial, commercial and residential applications. This time switch has the highest horsepower ratings in the industry for loads up to 40 amps resistive from 120 to 480 volts providing direct 24 hour time switch control of most loads.
This series provides 1 to 12 "ON/OFF" operations each day with minimum ON/OFF times of 1 hour. All models are equipped with one "ON" and one "OFF" tripper.
I am interested in a timer that I can turn off and on several times every hour. I have an above ground pool with a round solar heater installed. I would like to be able to turn the pump on and off 2- 4- times an hour. Will this timer work for me?

Yes this timer would work for you, however the pump would need to be hard wired to this timer. If your current pump is 1 HP or lower and has a standard 3 prong plug then you could go with the P1101 portable timer which would be an easier installation.
