Model # 896584000-037
Warranty 1 Year
The revolutionary new Pressure PoolCleaner™ uses your existing pump and filter for power. There is no need for an extra booster pump. This means energy savings.. The Pressure PoolCleaner is great for pools with lots of large debris.
Features
Some of the features that make Pressure POOLCLEANER™ unique:
FOUR WHEEL DRIVE
The POOLCLEANER™ is a patented 4 wheel drive. What this means to you is that in combination with the patented tire treads, the cleaner has the power to overcome obstacles that normally stop other cleaners.
SELF ADJUSTING TURBINE VANES
All the POOLCLEANER™ cleaners have the patented self-adjusting turbines, which maximizes the power from the water flow. This turbine is similar to a paddle wheel with blades that are adjustable. This feature allows the POOLCLEANER™ to still move at low suction and low pressure. In addition the folding vanes of the turbine allow for the easy passage of larger debris through the cleaner.
STEERING SYSTEM
The Pressure POOLCLEANER ™ is the only pressure side cleaner with an internal programmed steering system, that causes the left wheels to periodically turn backwards, allowing the POOLCLEANER ™ to turn and then move into another direction. For the Pressure POOLCLEANER™ there are three different programmed turns ranging from 90 to 540 degrees and this allows the pressure POOLCLEANER™ to travel 12 to 14 ft. before it turns. The POOLCLEANER™ cleans more in the shallow end than any other cleaner. The POOLCLEANER™ has no problem with uneven surfaces or strange shapes. It won’t stick in a corner, or get hung up by a main drain. There is no need for ineffective backup valves.
ROBUST TIRE TREADS
One look and you will see that the patented tire treads give the POOLCLEANER™ better climbing ability and obstacle maneuverability. The tires come with tread wear markers that show you when to replace your tires. The front tires of the POOLCLEANER™ have humps (raised treads) that allow the POOLCLEANER™ to overcome any reasonable obstacles such as the main drain and uneven surfaces. This makes the POOLCLEANER™ ideal for all pool surfaces and shapes.
EXTRA LARGE DIRT BAG
The Pressure POOLCLEANER ™ has the largest dirt bag currently on the market. This bag captures the dirt, leaves and other debris. The bag is easily removed and cleaned. The POOLCLEANER ™ dirt bag (pat) has an internal sock that acts as a trap door by stopping debris from falling back once the Pressure POOLCLEANER™ is shut off.
FAST and EASY SNAP SWIVELS
These unique patented hose swivels allow for fast and easy assembly and installation of your new Pressure POOLCLEANER™. The swivels snap to connect the 6 ft. hose sections. They prevent the hose from coiling, and leaking, allowing for the best possible performance from your POOLCLEANER™.
PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE
The Pressure POOLCLEANER ™ comes with an important pressure relief valve that regulates the pressure flow to the Pressure POOLCLEANER™. This relief valve regulates the pressure so as to not exceed the optimal pressure (12-15 PSI or 11-13 RPM). This will ensure the best possible performance from your Pressure POOLCLEANER™. It does so by opening to bypass water when necessary. Not using the Pressure Relief Valve may cause excessive wear and damage and hence will void the warranty.
I bought the pool cleaner 400 and I'm wondering if the suction type cleaner is hard on my pump?
Reply
If the pump has too much suction for just the one line running the cleaner then yes it could strain the pump. Valve adjustments may need to be made.

For the pressure side cleaner do I have to valve a dedicated line that is already there for the Polaris pressure side so it will have enough flow to run the cleaner seeing that it has no booster pump. There are 3 return lines and the dedicated line.large pool lots of debris, was just pebble finished. Thanks T

Hello Terry, Good Afternoon on this particular cleaner you can use any of the return eyelets to install and if you need more pressure you can change the size of the holes in the eyelets by changing out the eyeballs. it should be sufficient to run the cleaner and in the case that there is plenty of pressure you will get a wall fitting with the cleaner and you can relieve pressure using that. Hope that was helpful and if you have any other questions were here to help

Hi. I need to replace an old warn out 4 wheel pressure cleaner that still has a serviceable 3/4 hp pentair pressure pump. I see this cleaner does not require a separate pump--- apparently it can run on lower pressures with a combined/shared filtration pump. My question is:
Can this Pool Cleaner model be used with a separate pressure pump without any problems, or would it be better to go with a different model?
Thanks

Hi, John. Yes, this cleaner can still be used with a booster pump although one is not required. The cleaner will run as long as the cleaner has sufficient water flow.
