Model # RENU2
Renew non-chlorine shock oxidizer is a fast-dissolving granular that rids spa water of residual soaps, deodorants, natural oils and organic materials that can build up in spa water.
When Renew non-chlorine shock oxidizer is added to the spa water, it reacts with the bromide and forms a bromine solution to destroy any microorganisms left behind by the bather. Part of the Reserve & Renew® Chlorine-Free Sanitizing System.

Pros: Easy maintenance
Cons: None
I have been using Renew in our spa for over 10 years. In conjunction with a Nature 2 Spa sanitizer cartridge, this is normally all I need to keep the spa clean, other than a small weekly dose of granulated chlorine. Spa upkeep is much easier, and less odorous than old fashioned bromine.

Pros: Low odor, clean spa
Cons: none
The Leisure Time Renew seems to work as described in the Leisure Time Instructions that came with their starter kit... I've only used it three times, but it seems to work just fine... together with the Brom Tabs there is very little odor and no residue.

Pros: a great product
Cons: none
I have been using Renew for 10 years in my spa. I also use the Nature 2 cartridge, and once a week a little chlorine. I have not needed any additional chemicals to maintain the cleanliness of the spa and rarely have to adjust the ph. It is a great product when used as instructed!
