Automatic Pool Controls
Automatic Pool Controls are used to control multiple functions of your swimming pool from the comforts of your home. They allow you to do such things like turn on and off the pool pump, control the temperature of your pool heater, or turning on and off your pool lights. The Jandy Aqualink systems are the leaders in Automatic Pool Controls. Jandy created one of the first reliable Automatic Pool Controls, and continue to produce a great product. Hayward makes a very good control system, and it is backed by the Hayward name.

Functions
Most of the Automatic Pool Controls come in 4, 6, or 8 functions. These functions are the amount of swimming pool functions you want to control. For instance if you want to control the pump and filter, the heater, the lights, and your spa, you would use the 4 function control.

Built in Alternative Sanitizers
Some of the Control Systems come with a built in Alternative Sanitizer. The Aqua-logic comes with a built in Chlorine Generator that produces Chlorine using salt that is added to the swimming pool. So not only do you get a Control System, but you also get a Chlorine generator. The Aqua-logic is a very good system.
