jacuzzi sand filter model mfm20 is leaking back thru backwash port when dial a valve is in filter position,will this gasket kit stop this or do i need a spider gasket type

Hello Steve- The APCK1147 Jacuzzi MFM O-ring Kit would not fix your issue. It sounds like you have a spider gasket failure. If you can provide us with the model number of the valve, we can aid in finding the correct spider gasket.
