Can I use these in a cold climate? I'm wondering what happens when the water inside the tubes freezes.

Yes these water tube are designed to be used in cold climates and can withstand the water inside the tube freezing without damaging the tube.

I have a sloped deck and they would roll away from the cover. Unless you have a level surface, you may need the double chamber version. Also, 2 of the 10 had small holes and water leaked out.
