Are there specs on how many microns this filter is rated at? Is there available another filter that won't allow finer particles to pass through?
Reply
As a rule, sand filters sift particles ranging from 20 to 40 microns in size. Cartridge filters can sift particles as small as 10 to 20 microns in size. DE filters can sift contaminants as small as 1 to 3 microns in size. This makes DE filtration at least five to six times more efficient than sand filtration systems.

I have a filter c751, and it is leaking air, have replaced all the seals etc, have noticed small dripping around filter outlet at bottom is dripping water and high speed. Have put new teflon tape on male adapter. can sugest what next I may do?

You may want to check to see if the port has any hairline cracks, if the filter pressure is too high causing strain on that port fitting and double check to make sure all tape and plumbers glue/silicone sealed well. If the pump/motor is compatible with the filter square footage and not too strong then the last option would be get a plumber or pool technician to inspect the system

I have an in ground pool. 15000 gallons. it has a 2 inch pipe and 3/4 horse power pump. The pool is 15 by 30 and is kidney shape. it is 3ft to about 6 ft at its deepest part. I was recommended to purchase the c7512. Will this system work for my pool?
