How much sand substitute will I need for a S-360SX Hayward Filter?

Rob- The Hayward Pro Series Side Mount Sand Filter 36" Less Valve S360SX requires 700 pounds of Sand. If you use Zeo Sand Alternative (25 lb bag) NA510 you will use 1 pound of Zeo Sand for ever 2 pounds of Sand needed. Therefore this filter will require 350 pounds of the Zeo Sand Alternative.

I am using a SP3225X30 Pump what size sand filter do i need???

Hi, Cesar. In order to determine what size filter will be required, you will need to calculate the flow rate of your pump. Check out our How To Size a Pool Filter guide.
