 Hayward Astrolite

Available in a choice of attractive face rim models, from an injection-molded patterned design, made of rugged, non-corrosive glass-filled polypropylene; to a smooth, machine-polished stainless steel design, AstroLite Series light fixtures come standard in a wide range of voltages, wattages, and cord lengths to satisfy virtually any installation. Combined with Hayward`s niches, no other pool lighting system provides such value.

  • Patterned, thermoplastic or smooth, stainless steel face rim designs for corrosion-free performance
  • E-Z Lock™ clamp and reflector assembly for simple relamping
  • Blue lens available on SP0584 and SP0583 with stainless faceplace only. 30', 50', and 100' cord lengths.
  • 12 Volt, 100 and 300 Watt, 120 Volt, 300, 400, and 500 Watt models for any installation requirement
    100% tested for safety and quality assurance
  • U.L. Listed for fresh water (Guide No. WBDT. File No E39338)

will this light replace the 120 V that I have now

If you wanted to replace your 120V light with this low voltage 12V light then you would need to install this PX300 Light Transformer otherwise you would need to stay with a 120V light. This page shows all of our Hayward Lights including the 120V versions.

Hi, James. Yes, this fixture can be used to replace the SP0583SL but will require a Transformer.

Hi, Rick. The 7821xx is the model number of the Pentair Large Niche. This Astrolite fixture will not replace it but it can fit into that niche.

Hi, NHM. This Astrolite - SP058030 can be used to replace the SP571 pool light or you can replace it with the original SP0571N50.
