Impeller 2.0 THP w/Screw, Backplate O-Ring - R0807201
Impeller with screw and backplate o-ring for the following pumps:
**NOTE: Pump Shaft Seal - R0479400 and Diffuser Kit - R0445400 sold separately.**
Impeller Rpl Kit, Zod Jandy SHPF/PHPF 1.5hp, SHPM/PHPM 2.0hp
I have a 12K gal pool and have a Jandy SHPM2.0 pump.
Could I go with a 1.5hp up rate impeller and save money over the 2.0hp up rate impeller?
Would the 1.5hp impeller give me enough performance to circulate my 12K gal pool?

It is not recommended to use a different size impeller than what is made for your pool pump. I would stick with the 2.0 if that is what you have.

I have a jandy plusHP phpm2.0 serial number starting with K. The impeller has a number stamped into the plastic A0590804. Is the R0807201 the proper replacement? The Motor side of the impeller looks a bit different. The original has a thin (1/16") cylinder that projected out ~3/4" of the thick part. This projection is what the rubber shaft seal slid over.

Hello Ken. The Jandy Impeller contained in the Impeller Kit R0807201 is the compatible replacement for the Jandy Plus HP 2.0 HP Pool Pump. The reverse side of the impeller no longer has the extension. The graphite portion of the shaft seal is installed on the motor shaft and is compressed against the white ceramic when the impeller is tightened. When installing the shaft seal, please be certain the 2 pieces are orientated correctly to ensure a proper seal.
