Can the Pentair IntellipH automated acid dispenser be used standalone or does it have to be used with the Pentair Intellichlor salt chlorine generator.

The manufacturer only designed the IntellipH Controller w/ Acid Canister - 521377 to be powered by the IntelliChlor Salt Chlorine Generator, or EasyTouch or IntelliTouch Automation systems. Unfortunately, they did not design to be controlled independently or with other systems.

Why can it not be installed stand alone and adjusted manually on pad. I have an Iaqualink. I already have a remote ph and salt reader.

Ref: Pentair 521377 Intelli pH Canister with Controller Hi do you sell the controller or the cards that are inside of control unit separately , If you have a break down of the stuff that is inside te controller we can determine which part is damaged and order this replacement . Regards Juan

Hi Juan, We do not have a parts breakdown of this unit. Pentair does have a IntelliPH Replacement Parts List on their website but not an exploded view of where the parts goes.

Hello, John. If are adding the IntellipH unit to your existing Intellichlor Power Center, Intellitouch, and/or EasyTouch. You will not need to replace anything.
