MAX-E-PRO PUMPS By Sta-Rite
SUPERIOR HYDRAULIC DESIGN MOVES MORE WATER, RESULTING IN LOWER ELECTRICAL COSTS
This new high efficiency, low maintenance pump is designed for maximum performance for the modern pool. Advanced state-of-the-art hydraulics means that Max-E-Pro delivers more water resulting in lower electrical costs. It will keep your pool crystal clear as well as run your automatic cleaner and any other hydraulic accessories around your pool. Not only is this pump energy efficient, it is ultra quiet. Special dampening in and around the pump’s base makes Max-E-Pro one of the quietest pumps in its class.
The extra large 6” trap collects more debris, allowing you to clean the trap less often. Our clear see-thru lid allows you to check for debris without removing the lid. The new Quick-Lock trap cover ring makes loosening or tightening the trap a cinch. Max-E-Pro is self-priming and produces enough suction to lift water 5-feet above pool level. Large 2” ports include external and internal threads to adapt to a variety of pipe sizes.
The Max-E-Pro is built to last, constructed of Sta-Rite’s glass reinforced resin that is corrosion-proof and can withstand many years of U.V. sunlight. This season, invest in the energy efficient, low-maintenance pump that really moves the water – Max-E-Pro by Sta-Rite. 110/230V UL Listed and NSF. Backed by a 1-Year Warranty.

What is the flow rate of the Sta-Rite P6EA6F206l in gallons per minute?
I cant find this stat anywhere

Hi. To determine the flow rate, you will have to first calculate the Total Dynamic Head or Feet of Head of your pool. With that info you will then use the Max-E-Pro Performance Curve to determine the flow rate.

Have a pea5f-125l with 1 1/2 hp motor that needs replacing. Will this model be a good replacement. Is this a complete pump and motor arrangement?
Reply
Our reccomendation is this 1-1/2 HP Waterway Champion Pump as the Waterway Champion pump will be a drop-in replacement when using the adjustable base which is included with the pump. This means your plumbing from your Sta-Rite Max-E-Glas pea5f-125l will line up with the Waterway Champion meaning little to no re-plumbing.

Pros: Very quiet. Good power.
Cons: Possibly durability.
Very quiet with good power. Only question is durability. I bought it to replace an identical unit, to avoid doing any re-piping except where the original installers had glued in one of the connections. I have minimal plumbing and electrical experience and I had no problem installing it. It was nice that new slip union connectors were included. The 5-year-old original unit started leaking this year and burned out, but that may be partly my fault. If I had replaced the seal when it first started leaking, the old one might still be running.

This pool pump was the least expensive of the several that I researched. It arrived in excellent packaging and sooner than I expected. I installed it in about an hour (had to modify the pvc after removing the old pump)and it runs like a champ.
