Hi, does this item have JUST the plastic grids for the Sta-Rite DE pool filter or does it have the plastic grids AND the filter bags attached to the plastic grids? Thanks.

Hi Doris, This would be the DE grids which is the fabric grid along with the plastic internals on the inside of the fabric. You can view a picture of one of the DE Grids here.

if we buy this filter kit I are there step by step instructions with it or a web site to show us exactly how to get the old filters out and the new ones in? How long do these filters last? Do they have to be cleaned?

Hi Edna, The DE grids do not come with instructions but we do have a video showing How to Replace Your DE Grids. Normally the grids last about 5 years and here is a guide Showing you How to Clean DE Grids.
