I'm looking to replace my G.E motor. My model is a C1318. Your description matches but you say this is a Marathon motor. Is this right?

G.E. and Marathon are one in the same. G.E was purchased by Regal Beloit and is now under the Marathon name. The quality of the motor has not changed.

I'm trying to replace the motor on my pool pump but all these numbers and abbreviations on the motor label are really confusing me. What do they mean?

Does 5KC38SN6084AX include gaskets and/or O rings?

Hello Wally - I am sorry to say that the gaskets and / or o-rings do not come with the motor. This motor, as with almost all other motors , have multiple applications. The gaskets and o-rings would be specific to the pump model you have.

I think I asked the wrong question a few minutes ago. I just bought the above C1245 pump motor which will hook into a Sta-Rite Pump system. Do I need any gaskets or o rings for the motor to mount to the Sta-Rite system? After reviewing the diagrams, it appears not?

The o-rings and seals that you would need are specific to the model of the front plastic pump housing that the motor is mounted to. We see that the manufacturer is Sta Rite but we would need to know which model Sta Rite pump to cross reference that seal and gasket kit. You can call in to speak with a representative with that information or even email us here to continue the research on this.

We found INYO during an online search. We were looking for a replacement motor for our pool system. We were surprised, the communication with the customer representative was super fast and we got all the answers to our questions quickly. They are very knowledgeable. In regards to the replacement of the motor, it took my husband a few minutes to have it up and running, he put the seal and rings in, connected the electricity cables and that was it.
