My stain is in the deep end of the pool or on the wall. Can I still use the ID kit?
 Reply

A  Answered on 11/1/2012 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

There are a few different ways to use the kit. You can sprinkle a small amount of each packet into the water. As the product dissolves it becomes a solution that is heavier than the water. The solution will then sink to the bottom and should begin to react with the stain. Another method is to put a small amount of the test into a sock, attach it to your vac pole and hold it directly over the stained area.

I have a Nature 2 System (or mineralization) and I have stains in my pool. What should I do?
 Reply

A  Answered on 10/8/2013 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

First you should do The Stain ID Kit to determine whats needed to remove the stains. Once youve determined what will work, you will need to remove the Nature 2 System while doing the treatment.
