The dual speed motors have insulated windings for increased efficiency and large, highly versatile 6-1/2" diameter wet end for higher head pressure. A split capacitor (start and run) allows for less energy consumption.

Based on that model number the replacement motor would be part number B235. What is the amp rating for this motor? Will this replace my 2 speed/230v Intertech motor and pump on my Jacuzzi spa? The Intertech amp rating is 12/4.4 amps. What's the difference between a 48 frame and a 56?

Hi. The amp rating of this pump is 12.0/4.4 at 230 volts. The difference between a 48Y and 56Y frame is the diameter of the motor body. The 56Y motor is larger than a 48Y frame motor. This pump can be used depending on the Intertech Pump model and configuration.

I need to replace my spa pump and motor. My old part is a century lasar pool/ spa cat BN62 part number 7-184821-04 frame y48y. What model do I need?
Do ya have a pump with discharge comes out the side instead of top
