Hi,
I have a Hayward C5520 cartridge filter system. Just noticed a small crack in the lower housing. Actually a few stress cracks but only one is leaking, slightly at this time. I imagine it will get worse soon. Is the lower filter body you show on your site the correct replacement for the 5520 - dex2420at?

would this filter body part fit the c4000cp body part (the bottom half of the filter housing)? Is it the same size?

Hi, This Filter Body (DEX2420AT) will not fir the Hayward C-4000 unit.

Hi Howard, as long as you have a Hayward SwimClear or Pro Grid Filter then yes this would match up exactly with your filter top.

Will this bottom be acceptable replacement for Hayward micro clear de 36. Another web site says this will work. Can you confirm. Thanks in advance

Hello Scott, This bottom body tank 4811-43 would not fit your Micro Clear 36, I would contact Hayward 800-657-2287 to see if there was a part that replaced it because this part for the bottom body tank is obsolete to better assist you with your search.

We purchased the original DE filter 4820 in 2002 and recently the base burst. Is the dex2420at compatible since the model year is before 2008?

Hello- Yes , the Filter Body - Taupe (dex2420at) is the correct replacement base to the DE4820 Hayward filter. Please note that the base does not include any o-rings, clamp, or any other parts. This is just the base and if you need to replace any additional parts, please reference the Hayward Pro Grid Perm-A-Glass DE Parts diagram.
