where do I find the part number on my pool filter bottom?

The mfg usually has their part # stamped or molded on the tank body but the location varies & it may not be there. You may need to look at the tank lid as well for any mfg #'s.

Have not replaced plastic base. Crystal filter sales said that floor cleaning system puts too much pressure on tank which was 5 years old. If crack becomes worse then will need to replace. Part is ready. Change out will be easy. All parts are plastic or "O" rings except for band holding top and bottom shells together. Will need large wrench to free up intake and outlet parts and the top relief valve and some lubricant for the "O" rings during installation. Good time to clean the filter cartridges also.
