Product Description

INYO # 1003-054 MUSKIN / KD # P36881 THIS IS A FLOATING SKIMMER USED THAT HAS BEEN USED IN BOTH MUSKIN AND KD POOLS THE SKIMMER FLOATS AT THE POOL SURFACE AND USES A BASKET WITH A FLOATING TYPE WEIR TO SKIM WATER OFF THE POOL SURFACE. THIS FLOATING SKIMMER WILL WORK WITH OTHER POOLS AS LONG AS THERE IS A SUCTION FITTING AVAILABLE WHICH HAS 1-1/2" FEMALE THREADS THE SKIMMER MUST BE ATTACHED TO A SUCTION FITTING TO PROVIDE THE SUCTION FOR THE SKIMMER. IT ATTACHES TO THE SUCTION FITTING WITH A 5 FOOT LONG, 1-1/2" HOSE WHICH IS PROVIDED WITH THE FLOATING SKIMMER. THE HOSE INCLUDES 2 QUICK SNAP FITTINGS FOR ATTACHMENT TO THE SUCTION AND THE SKIMMER. THE QUICK SNAP FITTINGS WILL ATTACH TO A 1-1/2" HOSE ON ONE SIDE AND THE OTHER SIDE HAS 1-1/2" MALE PIPE THREADS TO ATTACH. THIS MEANS THAT THE SUCTION LINE MUST HAVE 1-1/2" FEMALE PIPE THREADS FOR ATTACHMENT. BASIC DIMENSIONS: THE SKIMMER HAS A ROUND MAIN BODY TO HOLD THE SKIMMER BASKET AND WEIR, ALONG WITH A SLIGHTLY ROUNDED 6 SIDED FRAME WHICH HOLDS THE FLOATS TO KEEP THE SKIMMER AT THE SURFACE. THE 6 SIDED FRAME IS ABOUT 16-1/2" ACROSS MEASURED FROM FLAT SIDE TO FLAT SIDE THE MAIN BODY IS ABOUT 8" TALL

How long is the hose that is provided with this skimmer?

The hose that is provided is a 5 foot long, 1-1/2" hose.

I purchased a used pool and need to replace some of the parts. Will these parts fit any pool?

Before placing an order you will need to know the manufacturer and model of your pool. Pool parts are not universal and are not guaranteed to fit any model other than the one listed.

Judy, This particular item is No Longer Available but you can replace it with a similar item. We don't have a replacement but I've seen similar products on other website.

Hi Mary, We do not sell a replacement or anything suitable but they are replacements available through other retailers.
