I have a 18" round above the ground pool, whats the best heater I would need for this pool or which heater should i need for this pool please, electric?

If the pool has an average depth of 5.0 the total gallons is approximately 7500 gallons. The E3T Electric Digital 240 Volts 18kW Pool/Spa Heater - 017123 or Compact Series Heat Pump 230Volts 62,000 BTU - 016635 can be installed or larger sizes. The heaters are for above-ground pools that have steel walls, they are not for use of the inflatable or pool style pools you will commonly find manufactured by Intex, Bestway, Blue Wave, Summer Waves, etc. that are usually sold in big box stores. You will need to use Natural Chemistry COVER FREE 32 Oz - 07100 or a Solar Blanket when heating the water to prevent evaporation, 80% of heat loss is due to evaporation, without the cover you will operate the heater/heat pump longer.

Would this be a good unit to heat up the spa but not wanting to heat up the pool.
Hello Javier. The Rhs Remote Heater System; 11kw; 240v (rhs-11.0) would be a compatible heater for a spa-sized body of water. Heating times would be dependent upon the starting water temperature and target temperature. The assist in the heating process, a physical cover (spa-sized solar blanket) or chemical cover ( Natural Chemistry COVER FREE 32 Oz - 07100 ) should be used.
