Part # 5270-95
Manufacturer Code SCN-435-36
Rotating Switch Single Speed
Apparently, I removed the dip switch while reinstalling my variable speed motor. 2 of the long legs have broken off. Can the switch be replaced? What are the odds I screwed up the circuit board? I just had the bearings replaced and would like to use the motor even if it just runs at full speed, like it normally does anyway.
Do you sell the dip switch?
Does it install easily?

Good morning Rich, Without the make and model I do not know the correct part you need is this the part you are talking about?Rotating Switch (scn-435-36) . My best advice is to reach out to the manufacturer of the motor if it is A. O. Smith Water Products Company/Technical support1-800-527-1953. If not you can let us know the make and model and if we don't carry it. We can point you in the right direction.

ran over the cord for my pool pump with the lawn mower while the pump was running. It shorted out the wiring , tripped the breaker in the panel. I replaced the cord and rest the breaker. when I turned the pump back on ,it hummed and would not rotate. I gave it a spin it ran. The pump is a Hayward power flow matrix the motor is a 1.5 hp
Century SPX1515Z1E .It look like there is no start capacitor, are there parts that i can change on motor that will get it to start spinning on start up.

Hi, David. The issue could be this Rotating Switch - SCN-435-36 or the Switch, Stationary - SCN-486 not making contact.
