Hi Jim, The Pentair Slide Valve Manual has the instructions that you need and you can replace the o-rings. You can locate the replacement parts via the Pentair - Pac Fab 2" PVC Slide 26-1165 Parts page.

Hi, Mark. The Piston Rod Assembly - 273241 is the internal assembly for this Pentair Slide Valve.

Hey, I just replaced the piston assy 273241 and now find the housing is cracked. The new valve complete, 263064, has a different piston assy (threaded cap instead of 2 screws). Is just the housing available or do I have to throw away my new piston assy?

Unfortunately, the housing body is not available. The 2" Slide Valve for DE and Sand Filter - 263064 is the replacement. The housing body is not an item that is available for replacement on this style valve.

Hi, Dion. Try using a strap wrench to try to loosen the unions. Once, it loosens you can assist the situation closer.
