I installed 4 of these check valves in my 1.5" pool piping and one has failed after 2 years of service due to disintegration of the rubber. This caused the pressure to build up behind the check valve (upflow) and increased the filter pressure upwards of 20 psi. Do you not make these check valves with "chlorine" resistant seals rather than the common rubber that is use? Something like Vitrol perhaps, which is found regularly with any seals that come into contact with chlorine?
