I am replacing a Hayward SP0704 valve with the SP0714T, will all the ports be in the same location?
 Reply

A  Answered on 5/2/2013 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The ports on the SP0714T are positioned differently than the ones on the SP0704 valve so will have to move the locations of the hoses.

Gary, If you current valve is on top of your filter and has 1-1/2" pipe coming into it then this would be the correct valve for the Hayward S-244T sand filter.

Had a leak due to a crack in the housing. New piece fit perfectly

Written on 12/12/2017 by Guest

Drained my filter, cut my return, intake, and backwash lines. Loosened the clamp on top of my filter, removed the valve, washed out my filter, put in new sand, replaced the valve, reconnected my lines and everything back to normal.
