Jacuzzi Laser Filter Systems With SLR Series Pump

Features:

14" (35,6 cm), 16" (40,6 cm), 19" (48,3 cm) and 22,5" (57,2 cm) MODELS feature our Upper Distribution System integrated into the dial valve and engineered for optimum flow – up to 25 gpm/sq.ft. (61 m3/h/m2) without sand migration or channeling.

Non-corrosive resin clamp assures simple installation and service of the 7-Way Dial Valve and filter components.

Underdrain with side-slotted laterals draws water evenly across the full diameter of the sand bed for higher flows, better filtration, longer cycles and more efficient backwashing. Features heavy-duty, freeze resistant hub and easy-service Snap-Fit laterals.

Extra deep sand bed for extended filtration cycles.

Bottom Drain for winterizing and draining.

LR Series Pump with Ring-Lok™ access to strainer basket. Patented air cooled heat sink allows pump to run dry without damage to the shaft seal. UNCONDITIONAL TWO-YEAR WARRANTY AGAINST SEAL FAILURE.

6 ft. (1,8 m) corded models feature a 3-prong, grounded plug.

3 ft. (0,9 m) corded models feature the NEC twist-lock plug (UL listed pump).

Injection-molded, high quality platform base provides a non-corrosive elevated surface for sturdy support of pump and filter.

Will this work with a 20 X 40 inground pool?

Unfortunately this system would not work on an inground pool as the pump is not self priming. Inground pools need self priming pumps since the pump is above the pools water level. For a 20' x 40' inground Pool I would suggest a 1-1/2 HP Jacuzzi Magnum Pump with a L250 Jacuzzi Laser Sand Filter.

Will this system work with a Gibraltar Above Ground Pool.I presently have a 160 laser sand filter.How much sad does this filer hold.Thanks

Hi Dave, The Jacuzzi Laser 16" Sand Filter W/ 1 HP Pump (94084953) can be installed on your Gibraltar Pool. The filter will require 140 lbs of sand.

Betsy, this 16" tank will work fine for your above ground pool. If you had anything bigger I would suggest going with a larger sand filter.

I followed the instructions and was able to get my pool up and running in a couple of hours. I'm somewhat mechanically inclined, but you don't have to be. The hardest part is getting hose connections tight so there aren't any leaks. I'm 100% satisfied.
