The Piston Rod Assembly is an aftermarket replacement part by CMP for Pentair 263052, 263053, & 263064 Slide Valves.
Is this the correct piece for my 98725300? Handle on the valve shaft eaten off by dogs. Drilled to put screw thru & use wrench & hand. It has now broken completely from wear. Mechanism minus the shaft all good. Bought a Hayward in error (filter) tank is AMERICAN PRODUCTS Titan Grid filter. The part meet listed above is from the handle. Do I have correct replacement part located before I order? Thank You

Jill, The Slide Valve Internal, (263055) will replace the Piston Shaft on the Pentair Push-Pull Valve model #'s 263052, 263053, & 263064. If the valve is also American Products you'll need the Valve Stem Complete (51013811) or the Generic Valve Stem Complete.

Hello I have an FNSPLUS36 and require a replacement push pull backwash valve piston shaft assembly kit. What is the difference for the generic listing you have and will it fit my filter? Thank you.

Hi, Jax. The manufacturer or the brand name is the only difference. Either option will fit the Pentair Push Pull Valve models 263052, 263053, & 263064.

Wanted to check if this was the correct replacement for my Pentair slide valve that is leaking out the top.
Hi Lawrence, this will be a perfect replacement for the internals on your slide valve for your FNS Plus 60 filter. You may want to get some lubricant when you order the slide valve internals so it seals well and lasts a long time.
