PureLine Above Ground Pool Cartridge Filter System
PureLine above ground pool cartridge filter systems offer the ideal combination of energy efficiency and outstanding water clarity. Cartridge filters offer higher filtering capacity than sand filters and are easier to clean, simply remove the cartridge and hose it down. Typically a sand filter will filter down to a particle size of 40 microns where a cartridge filter can filter all the way down to 10 microns, meaning more dirt and debris is filtered out of your pool resulting in crystal clear water.

How often does the cartridge need replaced?

We would suggest replacing the cartridge every 6-12 months. If you are only running the filter system 5 months out of the year then this would be every 1-2 pool seasons.

Hi Dan, Ideally the 115V outlet that this pump will plug into will have a dedicated 20 amp breaker. The amp draw on this pump is 12 amps.

I desire to connect a 1-1/2" flex hose to the pump suction, and another 1-1/2" flex hose to the filter discharge. This unit is delivered with male connections at these two points. What PVC fittings are needed to make screwed connections at these two points that will allow connecting the 1-1/2" hoses?

Hi. You will have to purchase the accessories and supplies needed at your local hardware or plumbing store. The ports are 1-1/2" MPT fr the pump and filter.
