Will the GRC40GH be recognized by my Hayward Aquarite control? Will the unions match up the same way?
 Reply

A  Answered on 4/9/2012 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The GRC40GH is manufactured by CompuPool and will match the thread pattern of the pre-existing unions (the cell does not come with unions). To date we have sold quite a few of these units and have had no reports of any incompatibility issues.

Hi Donald, This PL7106 AquaRite Replacement Cell would be the cell for you as it is $399 and comes with a 2-year warranty. This cell is just as good as the Hayward original as the titanium cell blades are made from the same material supplier as the Hayward original.

Where do I find T-15 on my cell? I am trying to find replacement for my Heyward "Aqua Collection" serial # 3E1011-2079537, I have a photo

Hi, Junior. The Aqua Collection Series only use the T-15 Cell based on the info I've found. If your cell has the gallon capacity size, you can also use that to determine what cell size you have.

The only numbers I see on my T-15 cell (aqua Lite) are: *1E0801-4014185*. Is the PL7106 a compatible replacement? Will I have to change the cell setting on my motherboard which is currently set at T15? please email me & you can also post on your Q&A site.

Hi Jeff, this would be the replacement cell that you need and you would not need to change the cell setting on your power supply.

Many suppliers of replacement cells specify that the Aqua Rite controller needs to be running software version 1.50 or higher. Does the PL7106 have any such requirement? Also, is the 2-year warranty prorated or non-prorated?

Hello- The Aqua Rite Salt Cell Replacement T-15 (2 Year Warranty) - PL7106 does require controller firmware version 1.5 or higher. The warranty on the PL7106 is a two-year full warranty.

Hi Chuck, By repeatedly pressing the small diagnostic button on your AquaRite one of those readings will be your software revision, I believe it should be the 7th press. The software will be displayed in a format like this on your display Software revision level (r1.xx) the .xx needs to be .50 or higher

Hayward Salt cell failed

Written on 4/27/2024 by Guest

I started by back washing my sand filter. Removed old salt cell and installed new Pureline salt cell. Ran the pool all day. Salt ppm readings were high and checked salt ppms with test strips. Adjusted as needed. All is okay now.

No salt reading

Written on 11/19/2023 by Guest

Called InyoPools and explained I was not getting a salt reading. They gave me 2 options for replacement. I chose the Pureline and a 1.5 years later I couldn’t be happier. Easy off, easy on. Check the flow direction and you will have no problem.

T15 Salt Cell

Written on 7/24/2021 by Guest

I unscrewed the old T15 Cell and then replaced it with the new one and plugged it in to the control board.
I have a Hayward Aqua Rite System, so at the box you need to re-calibrate your cell.
I flipped the black slide button down, then back up to middle, waited to hear the click then pressed the small black button 5 times and waited for it to calibrate. Once the numbers on the digital screen stopped moving, then I pushed the black slide button up, then right back down to the middle. Simple as that! Easy fix!

T-15 Cell needed to be replaced

Written on 8/10/2020 by Guest

Purchased the new T-15 Cell from Inyo Pools. The price was great, we received it in just a couple of days, and the new cell fit perfectly. It lined up easily and went on with no problems. We were swimming again immediately, which was a nice change. Thank you Inyo Pools. Once again you came through for us with no hassles.

HandT-15 Cell was not indicating the correct salt level.

Written on 8/19/2019 by Mack

1. Turn off pool pump and salt system controller.
2. Unplug original T-15 Cell from the salt system controller.
3. Unscrew the 2 collars on each end of the original T-15 Cell.
4. Remove the original T-15 Cell.
5. Position the new Pureline Replacement T-15 Cell where the original Cell was located.
6. Hand tighten the 2 collars on both ends of the new Cell (ensure that the 2 gaskets are in place before tightening).
7. Plug in the new Cell into the salt system controller.
8. Turn on the pool pump and check for leaks (if no leaks then turn on the salt system controller).
9. Compare the salt cell controller reading for salt ppm with a salt level test result (they should be very comparable).

T15 Cell was out, needed replacement

Written on 6/24/2019 by Guest

Shut down power to pump, control panel, lights, ancillary breakers.
Locate salt cell, loosen unions if possible by hand.

In my case they had been overly tightened on the unions so I used a pair of Channel Locks (large) to loosen the unions.

Unions on salt cells from Hayward always have opposite turning. one end is lefty loosy other end is righty loosy.

Gently loosen and then use hands to remove salt cell. trace wire to plug on control panel/aquarite system and unplug.

Lubricate o rings if necessary.

Install New Pureline replacement,
plug wire into control panel/aquarite

Flip breakers on.

Salt water filter

Written on 6/21/2019 by Guest

First I had to unplug the old filter from the housing box, then used a adjustable wrench to loosen up the nuts to get the old filter off, then put the new one on and plugged it into the housing box.
