I am looking for the drain assembly for this tank as the one that I have has a slow drip leak I would like to replace the complete assembly that mounts to the tank let me know what parts I will need thanks

The words on our dial are unreadable. We can't remember which was filter, backwash, or waste. Where can we get this information?

I am sorry, but I do not see a way to order just the label for this multiport. If, however, you look at the page for the valve HERE and view the secondary picture of the top, you should be able to mark it yourself, based on the picture.

We have an NE6170A Sandman sand filter (22")
The marking on top of the 6 way valve have totally faded, so we do not know where filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate and closed are located.
Do you have a picture of the handle mark layouts?

How do I determine what size sand filter I have (18,22, or 26)? Pool/filter came with new house but I can't tell what size the sand filter is in order to purchase enough sand, there is no number on canister. Thanks

Hi La, You can measure the diameter of the filter to find out what size you have if the label is unreadable.

What is the current draw for the motor, how many amps? Is the motor only a single speed? Also, with this type of filtration - I will not need chlorine tabs, correct? Or will I still need some sort of floating chem dispenser in the pool? One more, this will be fine for my 15-30 above ground oval pool? Thanks in advance!!

We do not have the access the information regarding the motor. You may view the manual by clicking here. When I reviewed the manual, I noticed the pump is similar to the In Ground Pump (1-1/2" Ports) - PureLine PL16, Splash, Splash Pool, Stark USA the PL1135 motor shows to have the max amp draw at 18.0 for 115V to 9.0 for 230V. The Sandman 22" Sand Filter System With 1.5 Hp Pump - NE6170 is suitable for you 15' x 30' above ground pool application, you will still require the use of chlorine tablets, shock, and other chemicals to maintain the water chemistry.

I purchased a oval aboveground pool that is 52", 20'x40' which I think is about 25,000 gal. The pump and filter system that is on the pool is not sand and is about 4yrs old. The pump is 2 1/2 dual speed and overheats, stops running. Small basket split, cartridge filter tank housing leaks. I want to replace the complete system with a sand system that is the right size and turnover of about 8 hours. I can't spend alot for it and I'm a retired 25yr Disabled Veteran and I need to use it for therapy

Hi, Bradley. I calculated your pool to approximately 18,880. This NE6170 sand filtration system will be able to turn over your pool in 7.5 hours.

Thank you so much for getting back with me so soon. That sounds like exactly what I need is there anything I need to pickup also when I order this anything extra I might need when I open the pool and to keep it running through the summer you would suggest? I need to purchase a new solar blanket and I wondered if there was something I could purchase so one person can roll up and to roll it out. And if if I'm forgetting something please let me know? Bradley, You will need Filter Hose if you don't already have some. You can also purchase an Above Ground Pool Solar Reel System to assist you with the cover.

Sorry, I was reading on how to assemble and i saw the list of items i will need. What kind of sand and how much? What about D.E. because the water is dirty from winter. My winter cover tore causing all the collected sediment to dump into the water. It also called for teflon tape and grease for the rings do you sell it?

Bradley, We do not have a Solar Reel System that will be sufficient for a 20' x 40' above ground pool. You will have to install (2) 24' Whirlwind Above Ground Pool Solar Cover Reel - 55-2403WH and a Solar Blanket 21 x 41 ft Oval - NS160.
