Yes this can be used on a boat haul and the Aquamend is resistant to salt water, so this should do the trick.

AquaMend is a hand-mixable, specialty epoxy putty for repairs to damp, wet areas and underwater surfaces. After mixing, it forms a polymer compound that may be applied underwater (either fresh or salt water) and will bond tenaciously to substrates such as fiberglass, concrete, ceramic, glass, metal, wood, and many plastics. This would be suitable for your application.

Hi Bob, An epoxy putty is not a suitable resolution, you can try using the Jack's Magic Stain ID Kit.

Hello,
I am interested in buying your product but I want to try to match the light blue color of my pool interior. The picture shows a blue color to your product. Does it dry with a blue tint? If not, is there a colorant I could buy that would be compatible with your product? Thanks .

This epoxy putty will cure in an off-white color. We do not carry anything that will have a blue color when it cures.

I have ground water leaking into an ejector pit, located in my basement. The pit is for the collection of waste water and is constructed of a durable plastic derivative. I am not attempting to keep water from leaking out of the pit but, rather, attempting to keep water from leaking into the pit. Will this epoxy provide a barrier against the pressure of ground water which is leaking into a subterranean plastic molded sewage ejection pit?
Reply
That epoxy would probably be a good temporary fix but it will not be able to hold for long, the pressure will get to it.

Hello Joe, so when patching pump parts that have fluctuating pressure changes most often are considered temporary resolves. Patching on the inside and outside as you described is the best approach to get the best out of the patch job.
