I need parts for my filter valve. When I look at the filter parts breakdown, it gives me different choices. How do I know which one is the one I need?

In order to locate the correct parts we will need to know the model number of the filter valve. Two identical filters can have two different valves. Typically the valve model will be located on the label of the valve. If there is no model number on the valve, you can try to see if there are any part numbers on the valve itself. Once you've located you valve model you can check out our >Filter Valve Parts.

This is actually Praher SM20-2, right? It came with my 2005-vintage Jandy DEL48. Centerline to centerline on the filter ports is 8" ?

Hello Mike- The Jandy 2" Standard Multiport Valve For DEL48 is a Jandy MPV A0553645 that fits the DEL 48 %DEL 60 model filters. There is another MPV valve, the MPV, 2", Piping Var. 2 (Fpt ) (SM-20-2) that is the Model SM-20-2. This MPV version does not include the pipe connections to the filter tank.

I also have a DEV 60. I replaced the spider gasket last year, but now it is leaking ~30% of the fluid in every setting to the drain pipe. What is the correct multiport for that one (2" piping)? Hopefully there are still parts for a 7 year old system. Thanks for any advice!

Hi, The complete valve for the DEV60 is no longer available, but you will just need the upper handle assembly and you can use this item here 2" Praher Upper Handle Assembly for Jandy DEV60 and you will need this Spider Gasket

We have a DEV 60 mpv. I've notice air slowly getting into the filter basket after I prime the system. I've replaced the lid seal (with silicone) numerous times; but the air bubbles slowly reappear. A friend recommended I check the MPV for leaks. There is a small amount of water in the "cut outs" where the handle locks in (rinse, backwash, etc). I've been looking for an "O" ring replacement kit. Can you suggest one or an alternative solution to the problem. Thank you for any assistance.

Hi Steve, most often this is associated with an air suction leak. Here is a guide that we put together called "How to test for suction side air leaks" that should help with that.

Will this valve fit a DEV-60 as well as a DEL-60?

Hi Vic, this MPV SF-S Series 2" - A0553645 only fits the DEL-60.  The DEV-60 valves and accessories are located on this webpage.
