The picture does not show an o-ring on the sensor or a pipe clamp. Does it come with these so I can install it directly in a pipe?

This temp sensor does not come with an o-ring or a pipe clamp. To install you can buy those separately or use the existing o-ring and clamp from your old sensor.

Hello, my heater system is the Jandy LXi for a salt water pool. Is the water temp sensor I need to replace called the 7790. My parts book states RO477300. ALso, the location is directly downstream of the pool pump. Do you consider that the optimum location for best readings?

Hello Charles- The Temperature Sensor (Salt) (R0477300) NO LONGER AVAILABLE REPLACED BY R0456500 is Discontinued and no longer available. It has been replaced by the Lxi Temp Sensor W/sleeve & Gasket (r0456500) 6204-208. Both of these sensors are for the temperature of the water and are installed in the headers of the heat exchanger as seen in this parts diagram: http://www.inyopools.com/parts_jandy_legacy_model_lrze.aspx.
