Is this truly made by Jacuzzi or is it a plastic version. The original is a fiberglass type material.

Hello Ron, Yes this is a Jacuzzi brand replacement part; made of the same materials as the original.

I installed a new "O" ring on my Jacuzzi CFR 100 filter and nearly emptied an entile tube of the specified sealer. It still leaks, a lot. Any suggestions?

Hi Bob, The issue could be with the lid or the filter body since replacing the o-ring did not stop the leak.

How do I remove the cover off a cfr50 filter. It was in a tub at a house I recently purchased.
Thanks

The lid to the filter is held on by a black Lock Nut that will need to be unscrewed. I included a link to the lock nut so you can view the part. Here is a link to the KD Pools Cartridge CFR-50, 50EF Parts page for your reference as well.

Why does the yellow bleeder valve keep popping out of this lid? It is difficult to put on - does it require lubricant or plumber's tape?

Hi, JL. The Cover or the Air relief threads could be stripped causing the Air Relief not to stay in place. I would recommend inspecting both items.

do you have a cover compatible with this model? And does the lock ring from earlier CFR 100 fit on it?
Thanks
will this lid fit my jacuzzi filter?
Hi Sylvia, this Cover, CFR 50,100 - 42285205R will fit your Jacuzzi CFR-100 filter perfectly. Note that it does not include the air bleeder valve or the Back Mount Pressure Gauge.
