Will replacing valve seat gasket stop the leak going to the waste/backwash line?
Reply
Yes replacing this spider gasket part o-322 should stop this leak. Be sure to clean the channel on the valve where the gasket sits. You can use silicone adhesive to help keep the gasket in place.

Will this work with a Hayward Multiport valve, Model SP715A50, 2"
Reply
That is the correct spider gasket for a SP715 model Multi-port Valve. There is also a kit that would include a new o-ring for the lid of the valve as well as the spider gasket - part number APCK1034. As long as you have the lid off, it may be a good time to replace that o-ring as well.

What model of Sta Rite valve do you have? Is there a part number on the valve? If not, what model is the filter? And if you don't have any of that information you can send me a picture of the filter and I can identify it for you.

I need internal filter gasket for Hayward Patent # 3640310 (model number is gone)
It looks like part # 4701-10
I just wanted to verify before ordering
Thanks

Hi, Randy. The Patent # 3640310 is not a good reference # to use because that's the patent # for all the Vari-Flo valve. We will need the actual model of the valve or you can compare the dimensions of this gasket to the one you have.
