Enrica, The Hayward 6 Spoke Valve Seat Gasket (SPX710D) is the correct replacement for the Hayward SP710 model valve. You can watch our guide on How to Replace a Spider Gasket on a Multiport Valve, and you'll also need Adhesive For Valve Seat Gasket.

I have an old hayward variflo 710 x3e will this gasket work for that valve?
Reply
This gasket would be correct if your SP710 valve was made between 1969-1975; if your valve was made 1976 - Current then you would need (SPX0710XD) Valve Seat Gasket - 5 Spoke

Hi Neil, this fits the older versions of that valve (from 1969-1975). Your SP710XR50 requires this 5 Spoke Valve Seat Gasket - SPX0710XD. Be sure to secure it with a good quality RTV Cement. This video will explain everything you will need to do to replace it.
