Hi, The Handle (E-1-S1) will work on the Pentair - Praher 2" TM22 & SM20 and Pentair - Praher 1 1/2" TM12 & SM10 Multiport valve. I was not able to loacte or cross reference p/n 145148 to his handle or a Pentair Valve. The Strainer Housing (354530) will work on all of the Pentair Dynamo pumps.

Will this handle fit a speck multivalve with a model number AQ180R? That valve is discontinued. I just need a handle.

Hi, I reached out to Speck, they're saying that the valve on that filter is unique and parts are not available. So I don't think this handle would work.

The handle broke when I was changing the position of the handle to filter. Should I just order the handle or do I have to order whole assembly?

If the valve was working fine before it broke then I would say that replacing the handle would be good. You can also replace the seals and washers while you are replacing parts. You would need to know the specific valve model that you have to locate that kit or the complete multi-port.

The American Product Multiport Handle broke, the AP # of the Handle is 510027. Can you cross-reference this number with the Pentair number since Pentair bought American Products. The multiport valve is working before the handle broke and now I cannot turn the valve because of the broken handle. If you have the right replacement part, do I also buy the Screw to the Handle, size is 10.24 x 1 1/4", Part @982019. Please let me know so I can order both correct parts.

Can I replace the handle without removing the valve assembly? Just push out the pin, replace and push the pin back? Lastly, should I replace the pin?
Thanks

Hi, Bob. You will have to remove the top assembly form the valve body in order to replace the handle. You can reuse the pin if it is in good condition.

Please provide the model number of the valve and we can tell you exactly what washer is needed. Of if you can send a few photos of the valve and/or the label information from the side of the filter tank. To send photos simply click on the reply link below and upload your photos.

Will this handle fit most all Hayward, salt water, sand filter system. Mine simply broke off while pressuring down on it.

Hello, this handle is made for Praher manufactured valves. If you need a handle for a Hayward Valve, you will need to find the parts diagram for that specific valve model number.

Ive always noticed when we lift or push down on the handle to change sand filter functionality, we don't really feel that it does anything. What part is responsible for raising and lowering the diffuser ? The picture of the handle shown looks exactly like ours.

Herman, when you push the handle down it will lift up the diverter and push against the spring inside the valve.
