Will this handle fit on the pentair sand filter as part of the top valve assy? My handle is the only thing I need. It has the numbers 145148 on it. I also need a pot for the dynamo pump. An o ring also if it requires one. The prices please. iF THE POT HOUSING has a universal part number it is #35-4530.

Hi, The Handle (E-1-S1) will work on the Pentair - Praher 2" TM22 & SM20 and Pentair - Praher 1 1/2" TM12 & SM10 Multiport valve. I was not able to loacte or cross reference p/n 145148 to his handle or a Pentair Valve. The Strainer Housing (354530) will work on all of the Pentair Dynamo pumps.

Will this handle fit a speck multivalve with a model number AQ180R? That valve is discontinued. I just need a handle.

Hi, I reached out to Speck, they're saying that the valve on that filter is unique and parts are not available. So I don't think this handle would work.

I have a praher side mount valve that is about 25 yrs old. Can the parts listed on your website be used to rebuild the inside of it.

Is your Praher valve the TM12 or TM22?

The handle broke when I was changing the position of the handle to filter. Should I just order the handle or do I have to order whole assembly?

If the valve was working fine before it broke then I would say that replacing the handle would be good. You can also replace the seals and washers while you are replacing parts. You would need to know the specific valve model that you have to locate that kit or the complete multi-port.

The spider gasket was torn, caused by cams on the handle (not allowing valve to retract fully)

Written on 5/10/2021 by Guest

Removed the valve by removing its 6 retaining screws and nuts
Place the valve on a rubber mat or carpet
Stand on the valve, compressing the spring
With a punch and hammer, remove the handle's retaining pin; discard the worn handle
Replace the teflon washer the beneath the handle (it's probably worn). Lube the washer with a silicone lube like dielectric grease.
Lube the bottom cams of the new handle and install by standing on the valve and driving in the retaining pin with the punch and hammer
Lube the bottom of the valve; it contacts the spider gasket

Multiport valve was leaking to drain when in run position

The handle was the last part of the install after changing all the gaskets inside the valve. Simply insert the handle after removing the old one and insert pin to hold the valve handle in place.
