I need a handle for a Proline sand filter. The component part number on it says 602-1930 and yours on line says 602-1931. Is that the same thing? It looks like that.

It is the same part. Please notice that in the "Alternate Part" numbers, the original number is listed there.

I have read the article on replacing Multiport valves in general and saw in those comments that some people were able to do so without removing the assembly. Is there any way to know if which route i would need to take for this particular Waterway MVP handle?

Hi Jay, The easiest way is to remove the cover assembly from the valve body. You'll have a lesser chance of breaking something else.

Does this handle come with the pin. I purchased a new filter the handle broke so I need to order a new one but I can;t find the pin.

Hello, Unfortunately the handle does not come with he retaining pin. I would recommend the O-ring Kit W/ Pin & Washer (800-0150). This kit includes the washers, gaskets, and retaining pin for your multiport valve system.

Hi, Michael. I would recommend also getting the Cover O-ring - 805-0254 along with this handle.

Does this come with the nylon washer/bearing that goes underneath this handle?

The nylon washer is not included with the handle. The nylon washer is included in a kit with the pin and other seals. The kit is part number 4742-004.
