Will this part fit the S244T model?

Here is a parts list for the Hayward Pro Top Mount Sand Filter 18”,21”,22”,23”,24”,27” Parts. On the key #8 shows SX200Q (4800-15) with a length of 4 3/4", BUT it also lists another Lateral SX240D (4800-15A) with a length of approx 6 7/8" that I believe is the correct lateral. Both of these are old styles that screw in. The new styles snap in and pivot and are totally different part numbers.

I need to replace a lateral in a Hayward S220T sand filter tank. There are two choices of laterals for this model #. Can you tell from serial # which one I need before dumping the sand? Serial # 21120705000013001 Thank you.

i have a old s240 filter ,before i drain sand how many lateral does it take or can i change over to folding type.

Hi Junior, The S240 uses 10 laterals and if you wanted to stay with the old style then you would use these SX240D laterals. If you wanted to change over to the folding style laterals then you can do so by purchasing this Hayward SX242DA S240 Folding Lateral Assembly

What laterals do I get for a Hayward S244S sand filter?

I already have the threaded lateral but the center piece that is attached to the center pipe that the laterals are screwed into is broken beyond repair. I can't find one here. Please help??

In order to try and locate that standpipe, we will need to confirm the model of the entire filter. If you cannot locate that please send us images at upload@inyopools.com we can review and further advise.

I have a S210T, with date of manuf 2007 July.
Is this threaded or pivot? and is it safe to replace threaded with a new pivot?(entire assbly)...
Thanks!
I replaced sand a few months back, and i am now getting sand in the pool...

This is a threaded part. Yes, you can replace a threaded standpipe assembly with a pivot; for your Hayward S210T, the pivot assembly is the Lateral Assembly With Pipe (SX210DA)

I have a S244s filter purchased in 2017. It's leaking sand in the bottom of the pool. Will these laterals fit? Should I buy other parts before I take the time to take it apart and fix it? Thanks!

Hi Rodolfo, The majority of the time it is the laterals that cause this problem. Periodically it can be the spider gasket in your valve and your filter requires this Hayward Valve Spider Gasket I believe your filter uses the newer Pivot Style S244 Laterals and not these older threaded laterals.

Thanks! Do inI to glue the spider gasket down when replacing (my multi pottvport is SP0710x62fv)? If so, what type of glue should I buy?

Yes you will glue the spider gasket. Here is a Guide and Video on How to Replace a Pool Filter Spider Gasket

I have a Hayward model SM1906TW SAND FILTER, I need to replace the laterals & center pipe, but I cannot find any replacement for this model ! What to do???

Hi Kevin, If your laterals are threaded (Prior to 2005) then you will require these Hayward Threaded Laterals and if your laterals are the pivot style then you will require these Hayward Pivot Style Laterals. If you want a complete new standpipe assembly with laterals then go with this SM1906TW Sand Filter Lateral Assembly.
