I have an AquaTools valve, Model #WC112-147, WC112-148. Are AquaTools, Pentaire and Stay-Rite all the same? Will this part work for my model?
Reply
Hi Al, This part will work with your WC112 Series Valve. AquaTool and Sta-Rite have been acquired by Pentair.

I turned the rotor while the pump was running. There are no obvious breaks or cracks in any assembly. The only thing I observed was the yellow spider gasket seemed to have deterorated with pieces scattered about. Symptoms were the waste port was running a trickle of water when the valve was on filter. Looking for suggestions.

Hello John, If you have a trickle of water running out of your waste line while your pump is running on filter you need to replace that spider gasket piece. Rotor, W/gasket 4679-12 this type goes to a Sta Rite Multiport 1 1/2" WC112 Series.

To further cross reference the parts for your filter you can call in to provide the filter model number and or send in images through our support request page. The model number you providsed boes not crossreference in our system not google.

Is this spider gasket what I need when I am replacing the port assy on sta rite t-210wf with port 261186?

Hi, Brenda. This Rotor, w/Gasket - 14965-0028 will only work with the WC112 Series valve. If you have the 261186 valve then you can use the MPV 1.5" Tune Up Kit - APCK1067 or the Diverter Gasket - 271104.

I have leaking into the waste port from my sand filter WC112-147. I suspect that I will need to replace the spider gasket. I don't see this as a stand alone piece to purchase. Is this available without the rotor? thanks

Unfortunately, the spider gasket is not sold separately for this valve.

I have a Sta-Rite T-240BP-1 Hi Rate Sand Filter. When in recirculate mode it pours water out the backwash pipe. Would this be the proper rotor/gasket to use for replacement with my particular brand of filter?
Reply
Hi, Sandra. Yes, this Rotor w/ Gasket - 14965-0028 will resolve your issue if you have the original WC112-148 valve.

My STA-RITE 14965-0021 multiport valve has this rotor/gasket combination, so I am asking here. I don't have any water leaking from or through the valve. But recently when the pump turns off, I can hear air leaking INTO the system around this valve. Previously the filter and plumbing were airtight. So when the pump started, there was no air in the system and the pump did not have to prime. Now it needs to prime. Will replacing this rotor/gasket fix the air leak? Or is another part needed?
Hi, Bruce. Since the pump is not priming, the issue will be on the suction side of your system. The filter is on the pressure side of your system which will assist your pump in priming by leasing any air trapped in the system.

Is this gasket compatible with the Jacuzzi Aquamax 200 filter?

Hi Steve, Does your valve say DVK6 or DVK7 on it? Also, does it bolt-on or clamp onto your filter? Would it be possible to submit a close-up photo of the valve as well as a wide shot showing the complete filter? Simply click the reply link below to supply this information and then we will be able to make the proper suggestion.

Here are some pics. Can you provide part number for whole assembly? Thanks
Thanks for the photos Steve! One last question does your valve bolt on to the filter or clamp onto the filter?

I am looking for a spider gasket/flo valve gasket/ or seal diverter gasket for a Sta-Rite 14965-0021. Can you assist?

Yes you are able to use this 14965-0028 (27-102-1322) Rotor with gasket on that multiport valve

My Sta-Rite Waterford H. R. Sand filter ISAL20F-06 is both leaking minimal water onto the Multiport Valve assembly AND putting considerable filter sand into my pool. My thoughts is that the Plug and Gasket 14965-0028 has gone bad and replacement will correct both problems. I ask for your Professional thoughts and any suggested additional parts that might be needed when replacing 14965-0028. I am assuming that all laterals are still intact at this time. Much thanks for your response

Yes normally this is a bad spider gasket which cuases sand back to the pool and this 14965-0028 diverter with spider gasket is what you will need for your JSAL20F-06 Filter.

Hi benny, yes this is the proper part and should fix the issue of water leaking in the filter position.

Will this fit a T-210WF Sta- Rite filter?
Reply
Hi Patricia, A few different models of valves were used on the T-210WF filter, if you have the WC112 series valve (the valve should be marked with a model # on the label) then this is the correct part for your valve.

can you order the gasket separate? if so, what is part number?

Hello Salvador. The Diverter Gasket is not available as a separate item for the Pentair/Sta-Rite WC112 Series Multiport Valve. The Diverter Gasket and Rotor are a one-piece replacement. Rotor w/ Gasket - 14965-0028
