I have a Tagelus TA100D sand filter with a TM-22 clamp on style valve attached to it. I need to replace the valve as the plastic is cracking. I've found the replacement valve on your site, but also what appears to be a generic one. The Pentair manufacturer part number for the valve is 261185. I see part number 4601-1185 on your site, can you tell me if this part will work for my filter and also what the difference is? Also, what kind of warranty does it come with? Thanks

If you currently have the TM-22 valve then you have the generic valve made by Praher. For a long time Praher made the valves for Pentair and now Pentair is making their own valves. We have both the Pentair OEM and the Praher replacement. The only difference is the Pentair OEM will have a Pentair label instead of a Praher label. The Pentair is also quite a bit higher cost. Both have a year warranty and both are made by Praher. The OEM is 4600-1185 which you may view or purc

Hi Rafael, They are several different model of TM Valve's, to make sure you get the correct one we will need to know the model of the filter you have.

I have two filters.brand name is 'hurlcon' model no.TM-22 and TM-12LM. so i need two valve same same model.can you supply for me?

The 4601-1185 would be a replacement top mount valve for the TM-22, but regarding TM-12LM, I do not recognize that part number. Is that number from the valve or from the actual filter? If you are having issues you can always attach a picture to this email so I know what part you are referring to.

What are the fittings on the Valve, 2 1/2" male thread? I was told that they now have 2" female theads?
Reply
If you are referring the the TM-22-PB valve then yes, it has 2" inside threads on the ports.

Hi, Bub. They are several versions of the TM-22 valves. In order to locate the correct replacement, I will need the model number of the filter.

Hi, Nicolas. This is NOT the correct valve, you will need Part # 14971-TM-22-L.

I have a Jacuzzi TM-26 filter and a Praher TM22 valve. Is this the correct replacement valve? Also, what clamp would work for these?
Thanks!

Hi Kevin, You can go with this TM-22-H8 Sand Storm Valve or if you just want to replace the top of your valve then you can go with this Sand Storm Valve Top Assembly

My problem is that my backwash has a trickle that won't stop and is causing the filter to lose pressure. Do I need a whole new valve or will just the top assembly fix it? Any other parts I would need?

we have just gotten a new tm-22-L praher top mount valve to go on our tagelus sand filter the ta100 d. the old lock collar is not fitting. what collar do we need and do you have the part?

Hi, Bill. The TM-22-L valve will not fit the TA-100-D model filter, this TM-22-PB will fit.

what is the spec differences between the tm 22 L and the tm 22 PB. our old valve has a 22 L model number on it and has the basket bottom but the new 22 L that we got has a completely different bottom. thanks so much

I have an Evolution filter TM22 that continues to leak out the backwash pipe, when back to the "filter" position. I want to
replace the entire top section.... sending you photos of what I have. Can you advise the correct top replacement, and are the
connectors the same as when I purchased the unit 9 years ago ?
Thanks for your help !!!
Luce
We are not able to confirm based on your Evolution filter information. There are 4 Praher TM-22 clamp style valves. TM-22-H8 (26-253-1080 ) uses an 8" clamp, TM-22-L (26-253-1055 ) has a 8.25" clamp, TM-22-PA (26-253-1075) uses a 8.22" clamp, TM-22-PB (26-253-1065) uses a 8.22" clamp, measure with clamp closed to confirm correct valve. This mfg does not do a top end assy, will be a complete valve or each individual part.

Additional Info.... I have an Evolution Filter Model # SP071621 (EBF 4000). Need a new Valve to use with this filter. If the TM22-H8 (8" flange) is the correct replacement, why is there no clamp seen in photos ? Sending photo of the 8" clamp with screws securing the filter drum to the valve that I currently have. How does the H8 without a clamp keep from spewing water out under pressure ? I don't want to order if it will not work with my existing filter drum. thanks
Thanks for your response on the 4 sizes available. Not sure what size I need for the RM22 2inch valve. Talked to Steve yesterday, waiting for the correct valve to order. The flange clamp I have is still good, if I order the wrong size valve, would my clamp work on a new valve ?? Thanks, Lucy
Still trying to IDENTIFY the type of valve I need. Photo attached of the size of flange clamp. It’s a TM22 2 inch. 4 models .... H8 - 8” clamp L - 8.25” PA - 8.22” PB - 8.22” I am leaning towards 8”???
Hi there. I currently have an Onga PSF31 which uses a Praher TM-22 valve. I am looking to replace the entire top mounted Multiport Valve Assy. However, I am unsure of the specific model of the Praher TM-22 valve that I need. I have attached some photos with hopes that you can advise further on which specific model I should be looking for. Kind regards.
I've got a Tagelus TA 100D sand filter w/ Pentair TM-22 (2" ports) 6 way clamp style valve. (purchased10-2-06) Will this valve fit? It looks like mine. And what is the difference between your part #'s 4600-1185 & this 4601-1185 ? Thanks in advance
Reply
Hi Lance, Thanks for the great question. After digging into this a little further it looks like both part #'s will be the same valve and will fit TA-100D, both valves are aftermarket valves by Custom Molded Products and I would suggest this 4601-1185 Valve since the price is lower =) by the way we only have 1 of this valve in stock so I would suggest purchasing as soon as possible as our inventory has been selling very quickly.

My 22" Meteor filter is probably 20 years old or so and has no legible labels on either the ball or the valve. The diverter no longer seats and water is running out of the waste port unless its plugged, so I'm assuming that the filtration efficiency is suffering. My outputs are 1 1/2 inch. Would this valve fit the old Meteor? I don't think it will hurt anything stepping up to 2" ports although I'd have to buy reducers from 2" to 1 1/2". Thank you for any info you can give me.

I am Assuming you have a top mount Pentair Meteor Filter. If that is the case this valve will work on the TM filter. Also here is a complete parts breakdown for the filter I am assuming you have...American Products/Pentair Eclipse and Meteor TM Parts
