Hello; I have the AP1400C cell from about 6 years; I start the system this year; it is not working; the display is showing 2 alarms: 172 and 166; I call a pool service; the told me to clean the cell; I did it; the same alarm; please your comment..thx

Hi Mohamad, Error codes 172 and 166 are indications that the AquaPure Flow Sensor is bad and needs to be replaced. This replacement should fix your issue.

Will this "round" cell replace the older model "square" cell, such that it will fit properly in the length, and operate the same?
Reply
Yes this salt cell replaces the older rectangular 2 port Aqua Pure salt cell.

My sensor cable was cut by a weed wacker. Can I just by the slotted sensor and cable and replace or do I need by the whole unit. Or simply splice the cable.

Hi Kevin, Yes you can purchase just the Jandy AquaPure flow sensor and cable. Jandy made a few changes to this sensor as they were have some issues with the old sensor, so it may look a tad different than yours but it will be a direct replacement.

I am getting codes 125 and 194. I have tried cleaning my cell with the 10% Muriatic acid solution for 30 minutes. After reassembly and running for a few minutes the codes 125 and 194 returned. What do you recommend?

If you have the Jandy salt system I recommend giving them a call. I unfortunately, do not have the error codes for that and Jandy should be able to help you troubleshoot and direct you to the correct replacement part if needed.

I need to replace my salt/chlorine cell.
It’s either an APURE 700, or 1400. The connector has 3 prongs. I’ve attached a photo....hopefully you can recommend the right part for me.
Cheers,
Peter.
This is the correct replacement cell kit for your salt system.

I have a Jandy PLC1400 Salt Generator. My control panel is telling me it has a ground fault. What could be causing this?
Reply
The common culprits for ground-faults include worn insulation, conductive dusts, or water interfering with the circuit.
