Will this work for a 24 ft Intex pool?

This system can be used on an Intex pool. Depending on your Intex equipment, you may need a softside pool adapter to successfully connect the Jacuzzi filter/pump.

I purchased this item to replace my doughboy pump and filter. I am hoping all connectors will be the same. I did not ask the representative this questions when I called to see if it was a large enough pump etc. Please reply and let me know if this is not going to work. Thank you.

Hello, The Jacuzzi connections are not the same as Doughboy. What is the size of your pool?

I have a 24ft pool above ground 13600 gal. what size sand filter do I need??

The 19" Jacuzzi Laser Sand Filter which is included in this above ground pool filtration system would be perfect for a 24' round above ground pool.

I have a 24 ft round above ground pool and currently have a jacuzzi maxiplus 190 filter that the seals are bad but the seperate pump works . will my exsisting pump work with this filter or would i need to upgrade that as well ? and are the hose connection standard or some new fanncy things

Hi Gordon, You would be able to use your old pump. The system on this page is both a pump and a filter. You would need just the Jacuzzi Laser 190 Sand Filter by itself.

I have a rectangle pool 14x26 with app. 11000 gals. would this system work for me?The system we have had for about 10yrs. Disconnecting and reconnecting has taken its toll. Some of my fittings are failing to seal properly doesn't seem like I can replace some of these parts. What do you think? Also was interested in solar for same pool what would you suggest. I live in S/W Oregon weather can be unpredictable up to July. Thanks for your time Don

That system will be great for your pool. It will turn the water over fairly quick so you won't have to run your pump for too many hours a day. With solar it's hard to say. It'll depend on if your pool sees a lot of sun or not. If not, I'd recommend a heat pump no less than 95,000 BTU.

I have a 48 x 52 round pool with a 1.5 HP Hayward pump and a sand filter. I want to go with salt water, what do I need?

Hi Angie, You can use your existing equipment if it's not stainless steel also keep in mind that salt will corrode any parts that is steel on your pool. All you will have to do is purchase and install one of our Above Ground Pool Chlorine Generators.

I have an old 12' round 48" deep Doughboy above ground pool. My sand filter has worn itself out, and I am only running a 1/2 horse pump which doesn't seem to run my old auto vac attachment. So I like the sound of this system for the money, but is it over kill for what I have? All my tubing is 1 1/2 inch.

Hi, Vonn. This system is larger than what's required for a pool of your size. I would recommend putting a little distance between the pool and the equipment to reduce flow.

I was wondering what amp or wattage this needs to operate correctly. I need to make sure my outlet is pumping the correct amount. Thank you

Hi, Pesha. The amp draw of this pump is 9.8. So a 20 amp 115 volt breaker will be sufficient.

how much sand will this system require? would this package properly filter a 24 foot round 42 inch pool

For a 24 foot round pool, this would be a good fit for you and that filter takes 200lbs of sand.

Can you use zeo filter media in this filter instead of sand, if so how much zeo media is required?

Hi, Barry. Yes, you can use ZeoSand with this filter. It will require 100 lbs of ZeoSand.

I have a 15 x 30 52" deep pool. is this setup adequate for this size pool? Also, how much sand would it require? Thanks

Hi Joe, Yes this filtration system would be adequate for your sized pool and the sand filter take 200 lbs. of sand. I really like the PureLine 19" Sand Filter with 1.5 HP Pump you will get a little more bang for your buck with the PureLine as you are getting a 1.5 HP Pump.
