Hello, Bob. Here is a copy of the owner's manual for the CMP valve, click here to view. It is designed to use in place of the Pentair 263064. The valves are used on the Triton II Side Mount Sand Filters. The TR40, 50, 60, 100, and 140 have the option to use valves 261173, 263079, 261049, 261050, 261055, 263064, or 263080. You will most likely need to replumb depending on the removal process of the old valve.

Does this include the valve stem (51013811) or do you order that separately?
The handle on my existing stem broke so I am unsure if I can simply order the valve stem or need the entire slide valve assembly.

Hi, This valve does come complete with valve stem. You can order the Valve Stem Assembly (51013811) separately.
